Bulbophyllum barbigerum

We have a new bloom!! The Bulbophyllum barbigerum. Only one inflorescence of the three, is currently in bloom with more than 15 flowers. I can’t wait to see the other two.

Common Growth Conditions & Species Information

  • Light: Dappled to Partial Shade
  • Temperature: 75-85˚F / 24-30˚C {night average}
  • Bloom Season: Spring/Early Summer
  • Fragrant: Yes
  • Flower Size: 1″ / 2.5 cm

    Hey Ed, thanks so much for the inquiry. I purchased my plant at my local orquidário, Orquidário Paulista, you can check out their list of plants HERE, but at the moment I think they are out of stock.

    Depending on your location, you should try getting in contact with your local orchid nursery to see if they can obtain a plant from one of their suppliers.
